Made entirely from extra-thick, soft, durable, real neoprene the Built NY Laptop Sleeves are just the thing for your laptop computer! The sleek form allows the sleeve to slip into your briefcase, backpack or other bag and no one will know you are carrying a computer. Built NY Laptop Sleeves have Shark Gill Grips on the sides to make gripping it easier, without straps that would otherwise get in the way. Like our other products they leave a small footprint by packing flat and are also machine washable. Will my computer fit? The 13 to 15 inch Laptop Sleeve fits most common sized 13 to 15 inch laptops. Our Patent Pending Hourglass Shape and stretchy material allows this sleeve to fit a range of models and shapes. Product dimensions listed are exterior dimensions at widest point (without packaging). Extra thick/oversized laptops may not fit well.

not great for the 13" macbook

i purchased a macbook and wanted to get a semi-protective sleeve for it. the product itself is well-made. however, it does not fit the 13" macbook very well which causes the laptop to shift around inside the case.
with that said, i would not recommend this product for the 13" macbook as it is a better fit for owners of 14" and 15" laptops.

Fits my new 15.4" MacBook Pro. At first I wasn't sure about the hourglass shape but once it's on the laptop the shape modifies. Doesn't look as,'hourglassly'. I really like the funky designs but wish they had more patterns to choose from. I bought the LARGE multi Poka dot pattern with the off white background .. which I LOVE..and the brown multi-dot one. It gives a very snug fit and fits into my backpack nicely.
Even though it says 15" it fits my 15.4" UNI-BODY MacBook Pro PERFECTLY.. I Highly recommend!!

Great laptop sleeve. It's a good fit for my MacBook Pro with just enough space to squeeze in the video adapter. I only gave this item 4 of 5 stars because of the color. It looks black and white in the photo, but it's really more of a navy blue/off white. The coloring is not bad, it's just not the black and white I expected. The inside is a cool bright pink.

I bought my sleeve in order to turn my favorite "messenger bag" into an optional computer carrier (for bike commuting). It works great for that, as would wadded-up newspaper, a towel, or a large serving of popcorn, as padding is the key. This provides that. What I discovered is that a padded sleeve this one provides the best way to transport your machine when a full blown laptop bag is too much. Relying on a fully charged battery, I have used my excellent Built NY sleeve to take my laptop along on flights, and I do so with confidence in the security of the machine (and going through security is a BREEZE without having to dig the computer out of a bag). One warning: make sure the computer is completely off and not just snoozing, because this is essentially an artic sleeping bag and you'll probably overheat the computer quickly if it is stored with the power on.

I own a 14 inch HP Pavilion Laptop and I think this product was especially made for it. It's an EXACT fit and I love it. I'm not sure how it would fit with a 15 inch computer as it seems there wouldn't be room for another inch but if you have a 14 inch computer this is perfect. With that said, the material does stretch a bit so maybe it could.

This fits great for my new mackbook pro 15.4". I had ordered the larger size and it was way too big (and they sent the wrong design). This is perfect! Highly recommend it:)

This is exactly what I was looking for to protect my laptop. It is a little bigger than my Macbook Pro so don't expect your laptop (I have the 13.3 inch screen) to fit snuggly. This is great and I put it right in my booksack and go. I LOVE the colors too!

This is great to carry just the 13" laptop with a thin bag that holds Apple charger, Ipod, ear phones and My Passport external drive. Love how thin it is and there is actually some fun color choices.

Great product, but it doesn't fit right. I have a 12" laptop but the 12" sleeve didn't fit because of the hourglass shape... I had to go up to the 15" size.
