I got this one a week ago on amazon. I went against the specifications for this bag when i bought it as i have two 17 inch laptops. I can fit both in it with ease. I think case logic should change its specifications on this one. I can carry my gym clothes, a towel, my lunch, stationary, books, files for school and two 17 inch screen laptops with their chargers and headphones in this one. I love its design. I just want the finish to fade and age rapidly so that it looks worn and used. It's a good choice for camping as well. My cowboy hat fits in it, just in case i need it on a rainy day. The design of the bag is such that there is a large compartment alongside the laptop compartment where you can fit anything you want. Do not purchase this bag if you want a bag that has separate compartments for pens, change, phone, water bottle, etc. This bag has large but few compartments, but these fit everything. The flap compartment holds all your stationary very well.
Awesome bag

This is a great bag. I took a huge chance on it with the limited reviews out there. It's durable and cool to boot. You can spraypaint or sharpie anything onto the bag - silhouettes, logos, whatever you want. It doesnt have a billion little useless pockets - One on the flap, one under the flap on the body of the bag, and one right on your back. Then inside there is just one big compartment to throw all your clothes or books or whatever you need. The padded laptop compartment is great - Even though this is marked "up to 15.4" it holds my 17" with bulge battery without a problem! GET THIS BAG!
CaseLogic canvas backpack

This backpack is a little larger than most. It has 2 zipper pockets, neither of them are big enough for papers but the inside of the bag has a divider. It doesn't have anything to secure it except for the flap. The bag sticks open a bit at the top corners when it's full of books. I still think it's the best backpack I've had. I'm very satisfied with my order.
great backpack! (could use a few improvements, though)

so far, a great backpack. Plus it's much easier on the eyes than most other laptop bags and is a good deal.
another plus is that there are no logos on the bag that scream "I have my laptop in here! Steal me!" If you're worried about the case logic tag, you can just clip it off.
plenty of room, and I can comfortably carry my 15.4" laptop in it. There are two compartments inside the bag-one for the laptop and the other for books/food/etc. There's a good amount of padding in the
section for the laptop, and the straps are padded, too.
I can also carry a couple textbooks, a binder, jacket, lunch, and water bottle at the same time.
The bag is larger than the average backpack, but it doesn't look like it's going
to explode when I put my laptop in it. That's how my Jansport backpack looked.
A couple negatives: I wish there was a zipper at the top of the bag. Also, there are three big pockets on the bag.
There is no organized compartment for pens/pencils/calculator/keys. I just throw my stuff into the various pockets.
Best school bag ever

I'm a senior, finishing up my last year in college. I've been through at least three backpacks and this is the only one that doesn't mess up my back, can fit all my stuff (including laptop and cord) and I can wear all day. It's really comfortable, durable, I'm not worried about it ripping. Really a great purchase. I highly endorse this product.
What I expected

As everyone seems to agree, it is much larger than the image implies. I was alright with that though, so I went ahead and order it. So far I like it. I can fit tons into it and the straps are padded so don't dig into my shoulders. My laptop fit fine in the laptop compartment, I didn't have to worry about it moving around and I've got no sleeve for it.
great bag

I highly recommend this laptop bag, it really exceeded my expectations. It's larger than I was expecting it to be, my computer's only 15" and there's a huge amount of extra space. I plan to use it as a touring/travel bag, but it would also be great for students. Nice heavy material and solid construction are a plus, and it's not overloaded with useless pockets. Looks cool and very convenient.
Cool bag, will fit a 16" Laptop
Posted by: Jeremy Gordinier January 1,1970
The discription says 15.4 but I have a 16 and it fits fine. A 17" would also fit but the little inside velcro strap may not fit around to totaly secure it. However, it will still fit in the bag fine.
Looks cool, feels nice and rugged. There is a warning label inside that says "may transfer color to light colored clothing" so that might suck in the future.
Not a lot of pockets, but the ones it does have are bug. Case Logic includes a Sharpie so you can "Tag" you bag.
It works

I bought this to transport a ginormous laptop I have to haul around for presentations. The bag isn't as rigid as i would like, there are little gaps in the seal between the top flap and the bag, and i can't strap down my laptop, it's too big, but other than that, the bag is ample enough and sturdy enough to haul my laptop and all the various tools and peripherals needed for presentations across the globe.
amazing!

Great product, excellent! cheap price and good quality. It's a big backpack (not so much in size, but in the capacity to store stuff). It fits my macbook pro 15" with a sleeve... and there's still place to put several books, digital camera, lunch, etc. You won't be disappointed.
