Product Description:

Perfect for sweaters, jackets, blankets, pillows, and other bulky items, this set of two extra-large vacuum-seal bags helps create up to three times more storage space in the closet or under the bed. To use, simply add the items to be stored, "zip" up the bag easily using the Sure-Zip slider, and remove the air that creates bulk using a household vacuum. The patented one-way valve works with any standard vacuum-cleaner hose. The bags not only compress bulky items for more compact storage, but they also create an airtight and watertight seal for protection against dirt, moisture, mildew, bugs, and odors. Made from multiple layers of polyethylene and nylon, the bags offer see-through visibility for finding items quickly, plus their durable design means they can be reused year after year. Each bag measures 26-1/2 by 39-1/2 inches and can hold a queen-size bedding set and two pillows.

Toerings will be shipped in FREE Gift Toe ring box.

  • Terrific Idea, terrible product!!

I was about to order these, and saw the bad reviews. I thought these were a bunch of monkeys that weren't any smarter than the bag itself!! I used them before and they worked just GREAT!! But to be on the safe side I checked the ones I have already used to make sure they were still working. ALL seven of them have lost their vacuum!! I won't be ordering any more of these until they improve the quality of them!! I would NOT recommend them to anyone for any reason!! Of all my reviews, this is my only negative one!!

  • These worked better than I expected

After reading many reviews saying these things didn't work, I was hesitant to buy them. But I was desperate to consolidate 3 large boxes of quilts and blankets that were stored in my basement, so I decided to give the Space Bags a try. I didn't have any trouble keeping the bags sealed at all. They've been sealed for over a month now with no leaks. I would recommend that after you seal the bag, you put your ear down to it to see if you can hear any air leaking. At first I heard air leaking out and realized I hadn't secured the zipper closure all the way across. After realizing that, these bags worked perfectly. Three huge boxes were condensed into 2 Space Bags in my basement.

  • Work as advertised or even a touch better.

My wife is obsessed with cleanliness. She vacuums our entire home every day, and oil soaps the floors every two weeks; she wouldn't open a window if it didn't save a dime on air conditioning, because she's sure the bugs and dust will come rushing in (funny that she married her exact opposite in these respects). So I was not suprised when she suddenly asked me to get Space Bags to keep the non-Summer bedding and clothing in--though being from Japan I was a bit suprised she had picked up on the commercials from what tiny bit of American television she watches.

These things really are as good as they seem in the commercials. The plastic is good and thick, and the seals are absolutely leak proof. And for working like they claim to, I give them five stars.

I know people are thinking that five stars requires a rave review, but my opinion is that things should simply work as they're designed to do--perhaps even exceed expectations--and that it's nothing to dance in the street about when they do.

BOTTOM LINE: Space Bags work quite nicely, they're priced appropriately, and are quite durable--nothing more you really need to know.

  • Seal holding tight

So far, so good. The ziploc-type seal is a HUGE improvement over the clamp bar the original bags used. I will have to try a larger size though. The extra large size bags will not hold a king size comforter. I think, maybe, that there's a jumbo size.

  • WOW! Why'd I wait so long to try these???

I just got my order of 2 jumbo spacebags-- and WOW! The king comforter shrunk down to next to nothing in the XL size bag! I did not have a poblem getting the ziplock seal closed- it worked great for me. I just ordered 6 more bags...I think that should pretty much should take care of my linen closet! When compressed they were not as flat and smooth as I expected, but I found on my second try if I hold it flat and keep pulling the edges out it does get flatter and smoother, and when I did a more "subatantial" comforter it did stay smoother. I think with some practice I can have them looking like the commercials! at first I was concerned as my vacuum hose did not fit perfectly over the nozzle, but just holding it flush worked fine. I intend to seal sets seperately so it's not a hassle to actually use the linens when I want them. In my photo I said it was jumbo bag- I was mitaken, they are indeed XL bags. The XL fit a "flimsy" king comforter and was just big enough for a thicker queen comforter.

  • A Plastic Bag Lasts Longer Than These......

I bought space bags for a move and now that I'm moving again I find out they are really only good for single, short term use. The blue "sealers" break off easily. The bags that still have sealers do not hold and often break in random places after sucking the air out. I can't imagine they would be any good for long term storage.

  • DONT'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I should have listened to the other reviews, but I thought I'd see for myself if it was a good buy or not. One of the bags did stay compressed, but only for 5 days. The other bag would not stay compressed no matter what I did. The makers of these bags really need to get their stuff together and make these bags better.

  • Zipper will not stay zipped

Posted by: Alan Nopar April 16,2011

The zipper on these bags will not stay zipped, therefore the air will not stay out of the bag and the bag will not stay compressed.
The first time I tried to zip the bag, the zipper holder fell off. I put it back on but it didn't help zip the bag. I then zipped it by hand, making sure I tightly zipped every bit of the zipper.
I used two extra large size bags, one for a queen size comforter and the other for 4 accent pillows. Neither bag would stay zipped.
They are a waste of money.

  • OK storage, but leak and tear easily

I bought a bunch of these to move with. This Extra Large size was useful for packing bedding in, but the zippers can be very contrary (falling off, or not zipping smoothly), the valves leak, and the bags tear fairly easily. All of these problems were worst on the XL bags.
