  • Neat carrying case with backpack option

I was looking for something that I can use on a daily basis as a laptop case, but that would also double as a back-pack when I am at an airport. This bag does it all.

When you use it in "Briefcase Mode", the shoulder straps are neatly tucked away. The only difference between this and a conventional laptop case is that this is vertical. Other than that there is no difference. It has plenty of compartments. I carry a fair amount of stuff in my computer case, but didn't migrate from one of the huge cases that you sometimes see.

I haven't had a chance to use it in "Backpack Mode" for any length of time yet, but am looking forward to doing so during an upcoming trip. When I tried it on for brief periods, it was quite comfortable.

For the price, a great buy. Very satisfied.

This laptop bag works great! We find it much easier to carry around than a traditional laptop case. Very versatile. Has plenty of pockets for accessories, notepads, etc.

  • This bag is the bomb

I really didn't know what I was missing until I bought this bag about six months ago. I've always had a preference for backpacks, but had been lugging my work computer around in the shoulder bag that came with it for two years. I finally decided that even though it isn't my computer, the standard issue shoulder bag had to go.

This bag is durable and reasonably attractive (there's an understated sportiness to it). I am very rough on my bag and I haven't experienced the problems others have mentioned with regard to the backpack clasp breaking. The side pocket for water bottle (or other beverage) is very handy.

If I'm not lugging around a lot of paperwork, it feels light as a feather with just the laptop and a notebook in it. If I've got a big meeting to go to and lots of handouts, pens, etc. that need to come along, this bag accommodates a tremendous amount of stuff and is about as easy on the wearer as a bag could be.

For those of you less enamored of backpacks, this bag can also be carried as a satchel with a handle on top or can be used as a shoulder bag with the strap included (the backpack straps store away in such cases). This bag is still more ergonomic for those uses, too, because it is shaped in a more user friendly way.

The shape also makes it easier to manipulate the bag when you are moving it around. With the shoulder bag, I always felt like I was wielding a weapon as a slung it around to get it where it needed to go.

I see colleagues schlepping around with those Dell issue shoulder bags and cringe. Dump them. Trust me!

I love this bag!! It is attractive, spacious, versatile and inexpensive. What more could you want? It has enough space to even fit a couple of binders or books and it also has plenty of compartments so that you can stash your belongings and keep organized! It also was delivered very promptly like the next day or the day after even though I selected regular parcel service! I am very pleased with the bag and service.

  • Interesting design, what I was looking for.

I was looking for a messenger bag/backpack. I'd found a few, but this one caught my eye. The front zipper for a pass through is really convenient, as I keep my cellphone inside. My laptop fits nicely inside(12.1") and I still have room for a few textbooks to carry to class. I really like the ability to switch between carrying it messenger style, and then going to backpack style.

  • Carrying Case

This carrying case is for the most part pretty great, however one of the straps has already broken and I don't even use it everyday. Its kinda ridiculous, but for what I paid for it I guess I can't really complain. A friend of mine bought the same one though, and one of her straps is tearing off completely and she's only had it since the end of September. Just be careful with it.

  • Great until the backpack clips break

I have to echo the review above.

I'm still using this with the shoulder strap but the clips that hold the
backpack straps broke after a couple of months use. On the upside, the Macbook wasn't harmed when the breaking clip caused me to drop the bag.

I carry a full load around and would have been happy if only the attachments had been metal rather than plastic.

  • Great bag if not a little big.

It's a great bag. Holds a 15" MacBook (or 2 bottles of wine) plus plenty of documentation, books, magazines, pens, papers, CDs, etc. The outside mesh compartment holds a compact umbrella nicely. The only downside it may be a bit too much bag for some people. It is pretty big.

  • Really nice bag for the price

I bought this bag after my current laptop bag could not hold all my compter related electronics I take with me when I travel. I could not be happier with this purchase. There are plenty of logically laid out pockets that are useful for all of your related items. You can carry this bag via the handle, over the shoulder strap or backpack straps that stow away in a zippered compartment. The construction is solid and should hold up in all conditions. The bag will even stand up on it own due to the fact that it is slightly thicker than conventional laptop bags. This will hold a 15.4 inch machine just right. I would recommend this bag to anyone that travels and needs to carry a few extra items with them.

I loved the bag, but the clamp holding the backpack-strap broke after 1-week of usage.
