  • Surprising capacity, though a couple of issues

I was wary of purchasing a purse online, because I am SO particular about size and how everything I want to carry fits. This was about the same dimensions as organizer purses I've used before, so I thought I'd risk it. Just got it last night, and though I had to use pockets a bit differently than before, I found spaces for everything. It also seems very well constructed. Reasons I didn't give a 5 star rating:
    * The organizer pocket is not quite right. Could use just a tad more space. Cards fit in slits VERY tightly. It's going to be a challenge to get them in and out. Checkbook barely fits. With a debit card, I don't use it often lately, so I may stop carrying it, but I'm still accustomed to having space for it.
    * Small front zipper pocket isn't large enough for PDA, another item that may be unimportant for many people these days. I still carry one though, and I had to use the large zipper pocket in the back of the purse. The little zipper pocket was just barely large enough to fit two small mp3 players and earbuds, so all is not lost.
    * I carry reading glasses and sunglasses everywhere. They fit, but not quite as nicely as in past purse.

  • Not for me.......

This purse ended up being smaller then anticipated even with the measurements they give you. There is no support of any kind in the sides or top. The are made of flimsy material and it does not keep its form. I found it to small to be used, the zippers were not of good quality and on one purse the zipper was not even sewn completely...so the zip part came right off. I guess what they say is true.... you get what you pay for. Unless you have nothing to carry in your purse don't bother with this. The measurements don't seem to be true that they give you.

  • Too large

I liked the purse but it was too large and it had a flaw on the back. I returned and received a prompt refund.

I prefer a small purse with pockets for organization. I was looking for something to match my lamb leather coat for the winter. This purse has far surpassed my expectations from the online description. The center pouch is roomy with a small zipper pocket inside it. This pouch is large enough to hold a 16.9 oz bottle of water. One on side, there is a zipper pouch for ID, credit cards, etc. On the other, another zipper pouch that I keep my compact and lipstick in. Then, a smaller zipper pouch off the side that I put loose change in and a small velcro pouch next to it that may be intended for a cell phone. Since I wear my cell phone on a belt clip, I use this velcro pouch for quick grab items such as hotel room keys during business travel. I like this purse so much I will likely buy another one to put up for use when I wear this one out. Although I initially purchased it to match my winter lamb coat, I think I will end up using it year round.

  • Nifty little handbag

I never have purchased a handbag online before, so was a bit wary. However, I am very pleased with this purse. It is soft leather, with a long shoulder strap. It is smaller than other organizer handbags I have had, but still large enough to hold essentials. The center section is large enough to hold a mini-umbrella, cosmetic bag, tissues, and sunglasses (large.) If you omitted the sunglasses you could add a small camera. There is a zippered pocket on one side of the center section. The velcro pocket on the outside holds a cell phone and the zippered pocket next to it holds keys (mine are bulky, too.)

The organizer section has 8 pockets for credit cards, etc.. The cards fit tightly but I prefer that. In the organizer section there is a center pocket that zips and could hold coins, but I hate digging in it (and others like it in other bags) and use a separate coin holder instead; I use the zippered pocket for additional cards. There is a zippered mesh section for bills. The organizer section has a two zippers, which I like, but it does not open flat--is held by a fabric gusset. That can be a plus or a minus. Your cards, etc. are a bit more secure, but also a bit harder to dig out.

On the opposite side of the purse is another zippered pocket, good for calendars, lists, checkbook. There are three rows of vertical stitching on this outer pocket; other wise the bag is very plain (which I like.) The hardware is minimal, has a shiny nickel look. The purse has a flat bottom, so sits where you put it. The zippers on the two outside pockets were stiff at first, so I used some easy-glide spray on a cloth and rubbed the zippers. Now they work fine. I have not had it long enough to know how well it will wear, but the shoulder strap connections are stitched in, and the price was right! Would be nice if the inner lining was not black, but that is a minor quibble. I am very happy to find a company that makes this type of small organizer bag, for a very reasonable price, and will buy from them again.
