  • Lots of pockets, lots of room, the perfect bag...

    couple of simple thoughts:
    1. no one mentioned how LIGHTWEIGHT this bag is. its easily 5-7 POUNDS lighter than the swiss army bag which i replaced...
    2. it does not appear large on your bag but there is a TON of room inside.
    3. orange lining is awesome. already helped me find a thumbdrive i thought i left behind.
    4. i am a big guy (230 lbs 6'1 very broad chested and shouldered - but not fat) and the bag is just a TOUCH too small. the straps are all the way out and its still a bit of effort to get it on my shoulders. if you're bigger than that you should try something else...
    5. very very clean look, much more professional than every other one i've seen or used.

all in all after my first week with it i am VERY happy. i went through 3 swiss army backpacks (wenger) and they all wore out by getting floppy and scuffed etc (granted i put literally hundreds of thousands of miles on them) and the effect of a floppy scuffed bag along with their styling (lots of highlights and accents and red streaks etc) presents me as a student on a field trip and not the senior level manager i am. so all in all this bag looks nice, is very functional, and feels great to wear.

i would recommend this to everyone.

I bought this laptop backpack two years ago and am still using it every day for work. This is the perfect laptop backpack for consultants. The straps are wide and well cushioned. If you just want to grab and put on one shoulder, it's still very comfortable. The handle hole on the top of the straps make is comfortable and convenient to lift with one hand.

Enough room for two 15" laptops in the back pocket. (It will fit 5 regular size Dell laptops front & back if you try). My 15" used to have a mobile card inserted on the side and sticking out, which really makes it 2" longer than the normal 15" laptops. It fits right into the pockets with a few inches on the top.

There are many useful pockets in this backpack. I especially like the little zipper pocket on the top - it's very convenient temporary location for your IDs, credit cards, keys, spare change, and receipts when you travel. Overall, every cubic inch of space is efficiently planned utilized.

Very good looking backpack, the charcoal & orange works so well. I highly recommend it.

    This bag is awesome!
You can actually fit a computer and a portable printer easily, also has a lot of compartments where you can put all sort of stuff.

I am very satisfied with this purchase.

  • Most incredible purchase

Look, I ordered two laptop backpacks, and a laptop sleeve. I'm rating all items below a three except for this Microsoft Backpack. I just got back from the TAXI ROAD RALLY music business convention, and wow. Honestly, this backpack is incredible. I fix three days worth of clothes, my laptop, charger, wallet, toiletries, etc. Literally, I stuffed this thing so tight, I thought the zipper would pop off. I got numerous compliments, and inquiries on the quality of the backpack, and it's perfect size. The pic of the backpack does not do it justice. I'm a mac guy, and my 13 inch laptop fits great inside, even though it can hold a 17inch very snug. It even has a chest clip on the front, to keep the weight off of your shoulders, and more evenly on your back... Cons, sorry... None. There is an MP3 holder with a headphone hole, a place to hold your biz cards and flyers, a small cd case, great back padding, Velcro to keep your laptop in place, and (drum roll please)
********THE COOLEST WALLET / KEYS / VALUABLES easy access pouch, which is 6 inches deep.

I am a mac guy. Microsoft, eh.... This backpack? Amazing.

  • Perfect Backpack for 15.4" notebooks

It's design, material (PVC Poly), form and pockets ... THE PERFECT notebook backback! I really looked around and searched for all kind of backpacks and this one took my interest at once. It's really confortable to carry, the notebook is completely protected inside - it's material is water-proof and the laptop pocket is specially designed with additional materials to soften eventual hit. You have lots of pockets and even pockets for mp3 player, cds, easy-reach pocket for keys and money... The backpack is superb!

  • Great for student

Bought this for teenager who travels frequently for sports competition. She takes laptop and school work with her. The bag protects her computer well, and there is enough room for other personal items, too. Fits under seat and in overhead compartment in commercial airplane. The color isn't exciting, but it does a good job hiding the smudges. It has held up well for about nine months. It's been coast to coast and to South America.

  • Great Quality

I have to say that the picture does not really do this bag justice. It is much nicer in person. My husband had an Eddie Bauer Laptop backpack for many years but was starting to tear. I looked for a while because I read that some backpacks will not fit a 15.4 like advertised. He has an HP 15.4 and it fits perfectly with a little room left to zip. The orange interior is interesting because you can easily see whats inside. Since most computer accessories are black. Lots of pockets for all your things. I recommend this for all those looking for a nice laptop backpack. It does not look like a childs bag so it is good for the professional.

  • Great bag - but WAY too big for me

The backpack seems really great. Many compartments, lots of room for books as well as smaller compartments for everything from pens to credit/business card, phone, MP3 player, etc! Love that the interior is orange but do think that the front pocket may get dirty from pens and the like pretty quickly. The other con (for me) is that as another reviewer mentioned, it is a very big bag. In my opinion anyone under 5'3 may think it takes up the whole back and then some. Too bad, it is a great bag.

  • Tons of storage but not to gaudy

Well, if you were like me and looking for a laptop bag that didn't look like you were going mountain climbing, then this is for you. I was not happy with the choices for backpacks out. I mean they had tons of zippers and pulleys and ties. I needed a more simpler and professional backpack and this was it. It has tons and tons of space for everything you need and more. Overall, a really nice bag.

  • Excelent bag for on the go

I purchased this bag needing a all in one, on the go laptop backpack. This is by far the best quality and well thought out bag I have ever owned. The pockets are a great size and hold a wide variety of items. The quality is top notch, the zippers are strong and durable. Finally a backpack that I feel safe in knowing my laptop is protected!!

The bag did come with some fabric piece that Velcro's closed and has Velcro to attach to the inside bottom of the bag. Not really sure what it is intended for, but it is making a great power converter holder.
