Perfect for your daily grind, the recycled Mountainsmith Messenger bag carries everything you need for an afternoon at school or work. The bag's 400 cubic inches of storage space includes a large main compartment, two interior zippered pockets, and a fleece-lined eyewear pocket with a cord port. The bag is also comfortable to carry thanks to the removable shoulder strap and the soft rubber haul handle. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the recycled fabric construction, which includes 450-denier recycled PET body fabric, 150-denier recycled PET lining, and Hypalon reinforcements. As a result, the Messenger is less resource intensive than most other bags, making it an ideal choice for the eco-conscious student or professional. Other details include a mesh water bottle pocket, an interior sleeve for notepads, a key clip, pen and pencil slots, organizer sleeves, and a backside sleeve. I had to return this bag because I was looking for a messenger bag. One that could hold books and possibly a computer. THIS IS NOT IT! This bag is the size of a purse. Perhaps, it was my fault for not scrutinizing the specifications; therefore, I felt that giving it a low rating for my mistake was wrong. Also, the bag looked as though it was very sturdy, and it's nice to know companies are becoming more sustainable. I wanted to warn others of my mistake to save them the hassle. If you're looking for a larger bag, I decided to purchase the Extra Large recycled tire bag. EXCELLENT BAG!
Very nice bag for storing items for a day trip.

Very nice bag, plenty of room, strap stays on shoulder. wanted a different color but this does just fine. Carries water bottles, snack bars and ID information for day trip.
