  We thought we could trust the Samsonite brand but it failed us. We went on a trip one week after we recieved the luggage. When we got to the baggage claim we discovered the bottom handle on the suite case had broken. When we called the number on the paperwork that came witht he luggage we were given a Samsonite dealer's phone number that is 40 min. away from where we live to have it reviewed to find out if it will be covered under warrenty. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.

  This luggage set is way more worth than what it costs. Stick to samsonite - they know what they are making. Used 26'' baggage during my travel to india, stuffed with 32kg weight which withstood the battering, yet in perfect condition without any wear and tear!!

  On my 1st use the luggage broke. The bottom of the 26 inch suitcase broke and now will not stand by itself. I bought samsonite because i thought it was goin to be dependable i was wrong.

• A Size for Everything

  Shoulder strap and handle cushions could have been better. The bags were stable and don't topple over when you load them up with 50lbs of used auto parts. You couldn't get a better 5 piece set for $100 unless you knew Herbert Q. Samsonite personally.

  I've had this set for almost 3 years and have traveled on average once a month with the two rolling bags and smallest bag. The black does get dirty but is not hard to clean. We're not too hard on our Luggage, and mostly travel by car, but our set shows very little wear to date. The quality is good though I know that you can spend more money and get awesome quality. I would buy this set again.

  I've never owned luggage before, but I've used my parents luggage that must have been from the 70s'. Now maybe this is really great luggage, or maybe my parents' luggage is absolutely terrible, but these bags fit my needs. I suppose the real test will be if they survive my fast approaching move across four states while riding in the back of a Uhaul. They have far more storage space that I could have imagined, which is great because it let's me cut down on moving boxes. I'll have to update this after the move with details on how it survived the interstate punishment.

  Alright so I've put this luggage through a couple business trips now, and the suitcases have held up to the wear and tear. The smaller bag has a rip in the cloth, but I don't hold that against the luggage. I'd buy this set again.

  I'm not one to really break in my luggage, but I have taken it across country on two separate occasions, from Las Vegas to Chiago, back and to New York and back. Held up perfectly. I use all the pieces, although when I received them in the mail I swore I wouldn't. Great value for light travelers.
