The Targus 16inch Crave Laptop Backpack is designed to protect up to 16inch widescreen laptops. Inspired by outdoor apparel, the Crave backpack is made of durable weather-resistant material which has been abrasion tested for durability and features a stain-guard coating to protect its surface. Double foam padding lines the laptop compartment to provide an extra layer of cushioning for shock absorbency while the soft, scratchresistant interior lining keeps the laptop free from dust or scratches. I bought this case from Best Buy last weekend and I'm VERY pleased with it. I haven't dropped mine, (and bought insurance just in case I did) but reading the other reviews about the case protecting their iPads from falls makes me feel even better about my purchase.
It truly doesn't have room for a ton of other stuff BUT I was able to squeeze my Apple bluetooth keyboard in the front zipper pocket! It was a tight fit but it's in there nice and snug. I'm even able to get the power adapter *and* a little collapsible book stand in the other side pockets so if I'm planning on doing any real writing while out and about I'm all set! :-)
Definitely recommend this one.

I was hesitant to purchase this item because the inside wasn't shown in any pictures, but I took the chance and my Toshiba fits nice and snug inside the all-round padded bag. The outside is a dark navy blue color so it actually matched my netbook perfectly! Love the shoulder strap and compact size. Since it was a perfect fit for my 10.2 toshiba, I wouldn't recommend it for anything bigger, and anything smaller wouldn't have that snug fit.

The thing I feared most about my new iPad 3G just happened. It slipped from a ledge and fell four feet to a linoleum floor. It hit hard with a sickening thud. At the time, the iPad was inside of my Targus Crave Slipcase along with my iPhone 3GS.
I feared the worst. But when I took the iPad 3G and iPhone 3GS out of the Targus Crave Slipcase, there was not a scratch and not a dent on either device. Both worked perfectly as if nothing had occurred. The Targus Crave Slipcase's padding had done the job.
Although I do not intend to make a habit out of such careless treatment for such treasured devices, it's good to know that Targus designed such protection into their cases. Frankly, I can think of no better product recommendation.

Great looking little pack strictly for your notebook computer. It fits my Dell Studio15 with room to spare. If you need to carry files, folders, etc. in addition to your notebook, might want to think again. There's a generous accessories compartment in the front for your cords, disks and other small necessities but otherwise no other compartment for books or files/documents. On the other hand, it's compact and not bulky to the point where you look like you're ready to hit the trails. Have received quite a few compliments on its looks already...so no regrets there.

This case is great, especially compared to the junk currently on the market. It provides a wonderful cushion for the iPad and the "stow away" handles are really neat.
The only issue some may have, is additional carry space. I can fit my earbuds in their case within the outer pocket... and that is IT. So if you tend to enjoy a case that fits a ton of stuff, look elsewhere.
If like me, you take the iPad and some ear buds with you, and like a padded, sleek way of doing so... GET THIS.
I love mine. Even dropped it once and the pad' was FINE. The inside of the case is like a soft, cloth material so no worries in terms of scratches. Outside looks and feels like a puffy down jacket, but not so much that it is bulky.
The zippers are well designed and made; feel very sturdy.
Overall, I think this is the best case I have see or used. Perfect.

This case is amazing!!!! Very nicely padded and fits like a glove. Ive only had it 30 min, but so far its everything an ipad case should be!
